Educated at premier institutions in India and abroad, he brings a novel and international flavor to all the projects at Happy Jute. Attention to detail, hawkish supervision and execution skills along with an innate ability to grasp the latent needs and aspirations of the customer allow him to extract maximum for all stakeholders. An avid cricketer and a thorough gentleman, he likes to spend his spare time with his family.
Diva Jain, Director, Happy Jute
After graduating with honors in Statistics from St Xavier’s
College, Kolkata she started her career as an actuarial consul-
tant at Watson Wyatt. She was part of a select team responsible
for designing actuarial solutions for some of the largest
companies in India. After a brief but successful stint in
actuarial consulting, she decided to fulfill her entrepreneurial aspirations by founding “Happy Jute” an exporter of niche, custom designed and ecofriendly jute products. Despite initial challenges, she was successful in establistores in more thanshing Happy Jute as a trusted supplier to several top tier twenty countries.
Diva has juggled several roles in her professional and personal life with panache and aplomb. Diva is a vocal proponent of fair business practices in the real estate industry especially with regard to the labor management. She has led several initiatives to implement safeguards for contract laborers to protect them from predatory practices as well as to ensure their safety onsite. An involved mother of two and a dedicated bibliophile Diva is passionate about inculcating good reading habits in children. In order to develop and support healthy reading habits in children, Diva founded a book club La Maison De Livres.She is passionate about education and providing children with an environment that is conducive to holistic learning and is currently experimenting with several projects in the area.
